Ferns surrounded by purple flowers and other typical Galician plants.

Ferns and flowers, Ribadeo, Galicia, 2020

The forest landscapes of northeastern Galicia are dominated by eucalyptus, an invasive species that has massively colonized the coast since its importation in the 14th century. It is common to find this kind of bunches of ferns and colors during the summer months at the foot of these. This picture was taken during a morning walk: it took 1 second of exposure at f16 to obtain the necessary depth of field.
